SPLOG REPORTER ADDS FIREFOX EXTENSION Upgrade Further Simplifies Splog-reporting Process
Blogosphere: Aug. 27, 2005— In its continued efforts to improve the blogosphere, Splog Reporter has announced the addition of a Firefox browser extension. This feature optimizes the reporter’s experience, further refining splog-reporting to a simple, one-click process.
Once the Firefox browser is downloaded and installed, users will be able to report splog immediately by simply right-clicking and choosing the “Report Splog!” option from the menu that will appear. The “Report Splog!” feature will also be available under the tools menu.
“Approximately 60 percent of our Splog Reporter visitors are Firefox users, so we thought they would value a Firefox extension as an improvement to our product,” said Frank Gruber, creator Splog Reporter.
“I was excited to get this out to our loyal users,” said Jeff Johns, who developed the extension. “Empowering splog reporters to clean up the blogosphere is our top priority.”
